Looks like starbucks is now offering instant coffee packets at retail! About a dollar a cup. Still super high price for a couple of beans. I wonder how much goes to the guy picking the beans?

Apples offer letter
Some images of Apples offers letter have been circulating round the web. You can see how design is rooted into the company even at the deepest level. The way to create a true design culture is to push design in every detail down to the push pins in the desk drawer. I believe their employees are also having a design experience .

Carbon footprint Iphone apps
I’ve been coming across lots of Iphone apps to track your carbon footprint and monitor personal energy usage. Great stuff. These apps sitting on peoples phones will really help get people educated about what they are doing to the planet. I think I might try one.
AC / Heater blind concept
A cool little concept using blinds as a secondary purpose. They sit around and collect light all day long. they are also the outsides air gateway inside to our home.

Bunkspeed Hypermove
Black and Decker just launched the Ready Wrench. A handy little tool that has some of the most common sockets built right into one tool. It’s gonna be a big seller this Christmas. I composed the animations on the site with Bunkspeed Hypermove. A great piece of software rendering high quality, photo real animations. A flash developer then created the controls. Check out the animations. I was not responsible for the design of the product.
New Black and Decker products
The latest Smart Select products have been launched in their own micro site this week. The products look great together and they really tell a story of functional and easy to use product line that was built with the DIY user in mind. I was responsible for the design of the cordless drill. (bottom image) The green highlights really add a punch of color and pull these products together when seen together.

Weight loss iphone app
Since my acquistion of the almighty Iphone I have been looking for apps that better myself and maybe male theIphone pay for itself, if that is possible. Hey I am even writing this post with my iPhone. Anyway, a great app I found recently is called Lose it. It tracks what you eat and what you exercise and tries to budget your calories for you. Of course weight lose is probably a bit more complicated than that, but this does help you keep on the ballpark.
And yes I did have two beers with Catfish as it shows in the screen shot below!
